Sheer Bliss Pomegranate Ice Cream Review
*** I was not contacted by Sheer Bliss and no Sheer Bliss Pomegranate Ice Cream was provided for this ice cream review. This is my own personal review after tasting the Sheer Bliss Pomegranate Ice Cream for the first time.***
I am not a big ice cream eater. I do love Italian gelato and Italian ice. When I decided to splurge on ice cream I usually reach for a pint of Haagen Dazs.
Couple months ago while shopping in US SuperWalmart (Washington State) I noticed new brand of ice cream – Sheer Bliss Ultra Super Premium Ice Cream.
First I was intrigued by the packaging. The Sheer Bliss Ice Cream comes in a pretty keepsake tin. How original, I though. I was put off by the price of $5.99 for pint of Sheer Bliss Pomegranate Ice Cream.
Trying to stick to my grocery budget I was not willing to risk $6.00 for pint of ice cream and being disappointed. In my experience if it looks good and has a big price tag then usually the taste is not there.
I walked away without purchasing Sheer Bliss Pomegranate Ice Cream and I picked up a pint of my favorite Haagen Dazs instead.
After I came home I did a little research about Sheer Bliss company and their premium ice cream.
I was pleasantly surprised by the great reviews of their products. According to many people Sheer Bliss ice cream was the best ice cream they ever tasted and it was worth the money.
Of course there was few negative comments from people who though that the Pomegranate ice cream tasted like butter. Some people thought the Sheer Bliss ice cream was too creamy. Few comments mentioned that the ice cream was little softer and fluffier then an average ice cream.
I decided that next time I will give the Sheer Bliss Pomegranate ice cream a try.
As luck would have it the ice cream was on sale for under $3.00. I was sold.
I couldn’t wait to get home and try my Sheer Bliss Pomegranate Ultra Super Premium Ice Cream.
According to it’s packaging it is All Natural and 100% Pure.
First I read the ingredients: Cream, Milk, Cane Sugar, Nonfat Dry Milk, 100% Pure Pomegranate Juice, Guar Gum, Carob Bean Gum, Carrageenan.
I was skeptical about the Carrageenan, but after using Google I discovered that it is in fact an extract from a seaweed.
I was ready to taste the Sheer Bliss.
First bite and I though my mouth just went to ice cream heaven.
The texture of the Pomegranate ice cream was super creamy. Yes it was softer then an average ice cream, but I actually preferred it that way.
The Sheer Bliss Pomegranate ice cream smells like Pomegranates. It has light pink color.
If you don’t like Pomegranates then you probably won’t enjoy this Pomegranate ice cream. In every bite you will get a rich taste of Pomegranate. I love the tangy, tart and at the same time sweet flavor.
So in conclusion Sheer Bliss Pomegranate Ice Cream delivers on it’s promise :”One taste of Sheer Bliss ice cream will change your life.”
Now, I need to try all the other flavors that Sheer Bliss has to offer.
Next time you’ll see a pretty tin of Sheer Bliss ice cream in your freezer aisle pick up a pint and you won’t be disappointed.
