Inexpensive Spa Treatments At Home

What woman doesn’t like to pamper herself and visit a Day Spa once in awhile?

I know I love any kind of PAMPERING at home or at the spa. Lately I haven’t been able to indulge myself and plan a trip to my favorite Day Spa due to my very low “beauty budget”. I admit I miss the wonderful SPA TREATMENTS. Home or away from home pampering is a must.

So I decided to do some research. I had a coffee with some of my friends in the beauty industry trying to get some tips and ideas so I can create my very own DAY SPA at Home.

Pampering at home could be fun and it won’t cost you much. Most of the beauty supplies are in your pantry.

  1. Like every good Spa you need to make yourself a pitcher of refreshing Sipping Water. Just fill your most beautiful glass pitcher with ice water. Add some orange and lemon slices with fresh Mint.
  2. Bring your Stereo into your bathroom and choose some nice and relaxing Spa Music or audio book to listen to while you Soak
  3. Light up as many candles as you can and make sure they are the same scent (nothing heavy)
  4. Grab a glass of white wine (it’s good for your heart)
  5. Now it’s time to submerge yourself into the luxurious bath of your choice:

Rejuvenating Anti-Aging  Soak:

Add 5 Green Tea bags into your hot bath and soak for 20 minutes. For the extra boost and the luxury SPA look at some slices of orange.

Slimming Soak:

Add few tablespoons of seaweed powder into your bath. Soak for 20 minutes. For the extra boost rub your “problem” areas with used coffee grinds before rinsing yourself off.

Glowing Skin Soak:

Add 1 cup of red wine into your bath and make it extra special with sprinkling rose petals on top. Soak for 20 minutes.

Remember to rinse yourself off after every soak.

While pampering at home you can also try these beauty treatments:

  • Slices of raw potatoes under your eyes for 15 minutes will help with your circles
  • Face mask from mashed up strawberries  helps to refresh your dull skin
  • Face mask from mashed up banana helps to fight your wrinkles (wash with warm water then refresh with cold)
  • Face mask from grated apple and honey helps your oily skin (leave it on for 10 minutes and wash with cool water)
  • For luxurious hand soak put few drops of hair conditioner into a bowl of warm water and soak for 10 minutes.

Most important part of having your Day Spa at home is to have fun and relax.
