Grandma’s Cherry Coffee Cake

Posted by busy mom on Jul 2, 2009 in Family Recipes |

This is my Slovak grandmother’s recipe. I was looking for it ever since my grandma Lotka passed away few years ago. I found it in the oddest place at the exact right time – the cherry season. I had to make it right away.

It is not your typical coffee cake. It is very moist and bursting with fresh cherries. I also made this coffee cake with fresh apricots.

I decided to share my grandma’s cherry coffee cake recipe with you and I hope your family will enjoy it as much as mine has.
