Chicken and Corn Dish
Last night I made delicious and very easy chicken dish that most children will love.
I didn’t have much time to make dinner, but this chicken breast dish with rice was ready and on the table within 30 minutes.
I used basic ingredients that you can find in every pantry and every fridge.
This chicken dish is a winner. Not only it tastes delicious. It also goes a long way and helps you stretch your budget.
This chicken dish recipe serves 4.
Ingredients:
- 2 Large Chicken Breasts (skinless & boneless)
- Oil
- 1 Onion (sliced)
- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce (low Sodium)
- 2 Tbsp Ketchup
- 1 cup Frozen Corn
- 1 cup Ham (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 cup Cream
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips.
In a skillet heat the oil on medium high. Saute the onions for 2 minutes and add the chicken.

Brown the chicken with onion. Salt and pepper. Add frozen corn, ham, ketchup and soy sauce. Saute for another 5-6 minutes or until the chicken is done.

Right before the end stir in the butter and cream. Let the sauce thicken a bit.
Tip: You can marinate the chicken strips in 1 Tbsp of soy sauce and 1 Tbsp of ketchup 30 minutes before cooking if you have the time.
Serve with rice.

This looks so easy – great for a weeknight dinner with things already in the pantry!
This looks delicious and I am printing it out…we always have these ingredients in our house. And I have many days when I have no idea what I am going to do with them. THANKS for linking up.
