Beware Of Recalled Products

Posted by busy mom on May 26, 2010 in Family - Children, Household Tips, Products Review |

May is not over yet, but there has been already so many recalls on products we use and purchase every single day.

I don’t know if it’s only me, but it seems like every year there is more and more consumer product recalls due to negligence, bad construction, cheap materials and other factors that the mass producers and large companies don’t pay attention too.

We are living in cheap and mass produced products era where most companies care only about the bottom line and the all mighty dollar.

Fortunately in most cases it takes non-life threatening injuries to cause certain product recall, but there are cases where children and adults alike died due to using or consuming unsafe products.

Many people are not even aware what products are being recalled because apparently after we purchase the bad and unsafe product it is our responsibility research it and find out if it’s safe to use it.

Bottom line is that every time you purchase a product do the research. Make sure that your family is safe and none of the products in your house have been recalled.

If you notice problems with any of your products don’t just chuck it into the garbage and forget about it. Contact the manufacturer and let them know. You might be saving lives with having the faulty product recalled.

As I already mentioned in May 2010 there has been many recalls on many products our families use.
